At Nepal Hydro & Electric Limited [NHE], we are driven by a
single purpose: our continuous efforts enable us to engineer and produce
products & services that meet Customers’ and other stakeholders’
needs and expectations and exceed them by continually building the
capability.
Precisely, it is to deliver reliable, innovative
and energy-efficient electrical and mechanical solutions that drive
renewal energy sectors, support national progress and enhance everyday
life.
Our origin dates back to Butwal Engineering Works (BEW)
in 1975 AD, where we began our journey with design and manufacturing of
micro-hydro & small-hydro turbines, small-sized penstock pipe,
gates, suspension bridges etc.
Since the company established
as NHE in 1985 AD, we have continually invested in manufacturing
technologies supported by continuous improvement, stringent quality
systems, and a culture of professional ethics and integrity.
Our
active involvement, through quality product and services, in
infrastructure development, high voltage (HV) electrical substations,
large-sized hydro power plants, HV power transformer & alternator
(generator) make us pride and responsible. The company extends sincere
appreciation and thanks to the multinational companies with whom we have
had associations at different times.
The dedication of our
people is a key to our sustainable growth. Their technical expertise,
creativity, and commitment to excellence have allowed us to turn
